We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the plastic surgery section within the area of Sensory Center in Örebro. At the plastic surgery section, both regional and county healthcare is provided in plastic surgery. We are a small clinic, but we perform many advanced reconstructions in several areas. A large part of our operations involves collaboration with other clinics in the hospital. Our role as consultants towards, for example, the ENT clinic is significant, and currently, we perform about 40 free flaps per year solely within the head and neck area. We also serve as the hub in the skin surgical center, a collaboration between plastic surgeons, dermatology, and ENT clinics, where we treat all types of skin tumors. Another major area of operation is breast surgery and breast reconstructions. At our clinic, you will quickly become an important team member.

In 2021, we moved together with the ENT clinic, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology into the newly built H-building. Everything is centralized here, and the building includes several outpatient clinics, a care department, outpatient surgeries, and a completely new modern operating department. The clinic conducts active research in several areas in collaboration with Örebro University.

We are looking for a new resident physician (ST) with a strong commitment and interest in plastic surgery, who is driven and wants to further develop the operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Since we are a small clinic that works closely together and supports each other, it is important that you, as an applicant, have good collaboration skills and are flexible.

We offer you a full-time residency (ST) in plastic surgery. The training is conducted according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations for residency and includes work in outpatient clinics, wards, and the operating department. On-call duty in the form of standby at home is included.
