About the Position
Welcome to Nobel Home Care! As a care assistant with us, you will have a coordinated responsibility for support, service, and care interventions for our clients. In your daily work, you will plan, implement, and follow up on these interventions. You will work in a team with colleagues of various competencies, always focusing on the individual needs and interests of each client. We employ a rehabilitative approach and person-centered care where the client's needs, desires, and abilities guide the goals for rehabilitation.
Quality and good care are important to us, and as an employee, you are expected to contribute and participate in our development work. Together, we are responsible for maintaining high-quality work and adhering to the guidelines and decisions that accompany the assignment.

Examples of Job Duties:
- perform care tasks and, based on delegation, some medication management
- perform service tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
- plan and develop work independently and together with the work group
- establish and follow up on goal plans, routine descriptions, and action plans together with the client
- collaborate with relatives and others in the client's network, such as nurses and occupational therapists
- document regularly in the organization's documentation system and review existing documentation
- establish and follow up on implementation plans
- have knowledge of and follow the organization's applicable laws, policies, and routines
About the Workplace
Nobel Home Care is based in Brolyckan, with facilities on Tulegatan, about five minutes from the Travel Center, which is perfect for those who need to commute to and from Örebro. We are about 35 employees with broad expertise, working in teams with care assistants, administrators, nurses, and occupational therapists around each client. Since last fall, we have had two unit managers working together to provide shared and close leadership.
We cycle between our clients thanks to the short distances, especially in the western parts of Örebro.
The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. The operations encompass care and support, preventive activities, regulatory authority in the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the area of Care and Support, we work to support and assist people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives.

Qualifications
As a care assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet clients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. Taking responsibility for your tasks is a given for you. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each individual's needs. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with clients and other staff, as well as document what the organization requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in the operational system, good computer skills are required.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- proof of protected professional title, or be covered by transitional regulations (permanently employed care assistant as of July 1, 2023)
- ability to cycle
Meritorious:
- experience working in home care
- B driver's license
- experience working in the operational systems Lifecare and Medvind
Scope and Start Date
Employment type: permanent employment and temporary positions
Employment rate: 100%
Start date: by agreement and until December 31, 2026
Number of positions: 6, of which 4 permanent positions and 2 temporary positions
Working hours: scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend
Other Information
As of July 1, 2023, the title of care assistant is a protected professional title. This means you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a care assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be employed as a care aide. However, if you had a permanent position as a care assistant on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use the title.
