Nora Municipality is now seeking an evening and night nurse for municipal health and medical care.

Nora Municipality is located in the northern part of Örebro County, between the lakes and forests of Bergslagen. The municipality has a fantastic cultural heritage and a rich association life. We have about 10,700 inhabitants and are expected to steadily increase in the coming years. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You are flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable with changes in tasks. You work independently but do not hesitate to ask for support when needed.

As an evening and night nurse, you play a central role in ensuring good, safe, and person-centered care during the later hours of the day. You work across several operations within special housing, short-term departments, and home care.

The job involves a great deal of personal responsibility and is suitable for you who are confident in your professional role and enjoy making independent decisions, always with support from the organization and colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Ensuring that medical prescriptions are carried out
• Performing planned and acute assessments and interventions
• Leading and distributing nursing work during the evening and night
• Providing support and guidance to nursing staff
• Collaborating with on-call doctors and other healthcare providers
• Managing medication
• Documenting in the journal system Viva
• You will also work in systems such as MCSS, Pascal, LifeCare, and NPÖ.

QUALIFICATIONS

High demands are placed on you as a nurse with us because you meet our most vulnerable patients who often find themselves in exposed, difficult situations.

Requirements for the position:

• You are a licensed nurse
• You have a B driver's license
• You have several years of work experience as a nurse where you have been responsible for making your own assessments and decisions
• You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing

Meritorious

• We consider it meritorious if you have previously worked in municipal health and medical care
• Experience in palliative care
• Further education as a district nurse or in elderly/dementia care is meritorious
