Training Coordinator in FMLOG Staff

As a training coordinator in the FMLOG Staff, you will work with logistics-related training issues at a higher tactical level. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on national and international training, acting as the hub between units, schools, and headquarters. This position is for someone who is structured, communicative, and wants to contribute to the long-term development of the Armed Forces.

About the Unit

The FMLOG unit is a military unit consisting of several entities operating throughout Sweden, with a staff located in Stockholm that supports the unit commander. The task of FMLOG is to support all branches and combat forces of the Armed Forces with rear logistics, such as operational and strategic transport and supply management, as well as other logistics. The position of Training Coordinator is found in the FMLOG Staff Implementation Department within the Training and Experience Section. The task of the Implementation Department is to lead, coordinate, and follow up on FMLOG's ongoing production and operations, planning exercises, military unit training, and operations in the short term from now up to a maximum of one year.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national as well as international training for the unit.
  • Conduct needs analyses of training for the unit.
  • Manage applications for NATO training for transport tools for the entire Armed Forces.
  • Administer the unit's training website.
  • Coordinate and lead training dialogues within the unit.
  • Support planning officers with military unit training.

Qualifications

  • Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • High school education in a relevant field.

Desirable

  • Driver's license B.
  • Experience working in the Armed Forces or another authority.
  • Meets the Armed Forces' physical requirements.
  • Experience in training coordination or similar tasks.

You are a good representative of the Armed Forces and a role model both as a person and as a colleague. This means you act according to the Armed Forces' core values. You have good physical ability, can handle stress, and have the ability to adapt to the situation based on what the task requires of you. You are flexible and receptive to new tasks, not just within your own area of expertise. You should be problem-solving and able to receive a task by analyzing its meaning, acting to meet the needs for solving the task, engaging in dialogue with decision-makers, compiling, and presenting the results. You often work together with others in a team but also independently. Therefore, it is required that you can independently carry out your own projects. You are meticulous and have a structured work approach and the ability to adjust pace when necessary.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other Information

The position is a permanent civilian employment with a 6-month probationary period (does not apply if you are already employed in the Armed Forces) and military placement in FMLOG.

Work location: Stockholm

Travel within the country may occur.

Start date according to agreement.
