We are now looking for a Communicator for Svenska kraftnät

Background and Assignment Description

To meet the significantly increased demand for electricity and ensure operational reliability, Svenska kraftnät is planning renewals of the electricity grid throughout Sweden. This is a prerequisite for electrification, the green transition, and for Sweden to continue developing in a positive direction. Effective and tailored communication with those affected by the grid expansion is one of the key factors for successful progress in the projects. The assignment involves supporting the grid expansion with communication expertise in several programs and projects. The consultant will be part of the unit within Svenska kraftnät's communications department that focuses on regional dialogues and communication in grid expansion. The communicators in the unit have common working methods and collaborate to ensure communication that contributes to the progress of the projects while also strengthening Svenska kraftnät's brand.

Responsibilities

• Write communication plans and participate in the planning and execution of communication activities

• Plan and execute events aimed at a selected target group

• Provide communicative support to the project spokespersons

• Ensure that communication follows the established messages for the grid expansion

• Produce text materials, images, and simple videos

• Make web publications on svk.se and the svk intranet in Optimizely

• Create products in InDesign

Preliminary start date: 2026-04-01

Scope: 100 percent.

Location: Svenska kraftnät's office in Sundbyberg. The consultant may be offered to work from their own office to some extent. Remote work can account for a maximum of 50% of the working hours, meaning the consultant should be present at the above office at least 2-3 days a week.

Security clearance: Security clearance and background check are required.
