Personal Assistant Needed

We are now looking for a personal assistant who will play an important role and become a significant person in our client Nadia's daily life. She alternates weekly between living with her parents and her twin sister.

Nadia communicates through words, visual support, and TAKK signs. Nadia is a playful and determined girl who knows what she wants; she has a great sense of humor and is loving towards those around her. She particularly enjoys being outdoors, driving her wheelchair, swimming, and playing with balls.

You will work on an as-needed basis when Nadia is at her mother's, where you will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of Nadia's support needs.

The daily work consists of assisting with tasks that Nadia cannot do herself. She needs help with food and drink during meals and with personal hygiene. Active and constant supervision due to epilepsy and mobility impairment is part of the job responsibilities. Nadia also needs help to stay active through play and exercise. She trains her body every day, both to prevent losing the functions she currently has and to promote her development.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

You need to be playful, meticulous, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. It is beneficial if you have experience in care or have worked with children before. However, the most important thing is that the chemistry is right – that you find a bond and are willing to learn everything about Nadia and her needs.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours sometimes, as we in the team arrange staffing if someone is sick or on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• On an hourly basis – extra as needed during the regular assistant's sick leave and vacation.
• Working hours are scheduled on weekends.
• Immediate start.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to Fremia. Collective agreement.
