Executive Support at the Swedish Armed Forces Cyber Defense Command

Then the role of executive support at the Swedish Armed Forces Cyber Defense Command might be for you!

The Swedish Armed Forces Cyber Defense Command continues to rapidly develop and strengthen Sweden's cyber defense, which acts to protect Swedish interests in the cyber domain at all levels of conflict. We are now looking for an executive support who will be a key person in supporting the head of the Cyber Defense Command and the rest of the management.

Main Responsibilities

As executive support, you will create a flow and logistics around a manager who is constantly on the move. You will provide administrative and service-focused support primarily focused on coordinating and planning the calendar with meetings and bookings. You will proactively work on your own initiative to best anticipate what might happen in the future and act accordingly, all to ensure that the head of the Cyber Defense Command and the rest of the management can fulfill their mission. It is required that you are both meticulous in details and have the ability to see the big picture. The role also includes:

  • Coordinating and planning personnel gatherings, management meetings, collaboration meetings, and other gatherings planned by the head of the Cyber Defense Command
  • Compiling material for reports, coordinating, driving, and participating in various types of projects
  • Acting as overall support for the head of the Cyber Defense Command by managing administration such as calendar management, publishing guidelines, travel bookings, handling invoices, contracts, and orders.

Requirements

  • Approved 3-year high school education
  • At least 5 years of relevant and current experience acting as executive support in an administrative and service-oriented role
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English
  • Driving license B.

It is important that you are a good representative of the Swedish Armed Forces and stand behind the Armed Forces' values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

  • Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency
  • Experience working in the Armed Forces' information and case management systems
  • Experience working in document and case management systems in public operations
  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces' command systems and command processes
  • Academic degree relevant to the position
  • Personal recommendations that describe your level of service

Other

Permanent employment, full-time, and a 6-month probationary period apply. Start date by agreement. The workplace is in Stockholm.

The job also includes 3 hours of training per week during working hours.
