Controller with Government Experience Wanted

We are currently looking for a consultant assignment for a controller with government experience.

• Scope: Full-time 100%
• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: Until 2026-10-31, possibly longer

You will be employed by Poolia but will work on-site at our client KTH in Stockholm.

About the Position

KTH's finance function needs to strengthen with additional expertise. You will primarily work on-site at the Campus in Stockholm, together with colleagues in the organization and with finance colleagues.

Your Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven economist for the finance department at KTH. The economist will be responsible for the financial management of projects, from budgeting at application to project reporting. The work is done in close collaboration with the school's researchers.

Who Are You?

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• You have experience in financial work related to research-funded projects at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Worked with budgeting and forecasting for grant-funded projects at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Worked with EU-funded projects including reporting at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Experience working in the financial system Unit4 (Agresso)
• Experience reporting to funders in accordance with agreements
• Experience working in the HR system HR-plus Visma.

Reference Assignments:

You must have the competence and experience necessary for the assignment. You have performed similar tasks within the same area and scope as this assignment.

You need to provide references, the purpose of which is for KTH to gain knowledge of your experience in the field.

Therefore, you need to submit two (2) reference assignments completed within the last three years (since December 2023).

A detailed project description and current contact information for the references. KTH may contact your references to ensure that the information is accurate and that your work has been satisfactory.

If you have had a single long assignment/employment that extends back to December 2023, it will be accepted.
