Welcome to the Health and Care Administration

We work with support and care for the elderly and for people with disabilities. The goal is for them to live as active and independent lives as possible.

The Health and Care Administration is one of Sweden's largest employers in municipal care. Here, approximately 7,500 employees work based on our core values – making a difference, working together, and welcoming innovation. With us, there are great opportunities to take responsibility, develop, and contribute with your expertise. We strive for an organizational culture built on trust and pride in our work.

Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. More information about what this entails for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Exceptions (from full-time as the norm) are personal assistants.

Do you want to work closely with patients in an environment where your judgment and commitment truly make a difference? Here, you will have a varied everyday life, a close team, and a work environment where different professions meet and learn from each other. We warmly welcome your application.

We are now looking for two licensed nurses

to our area within home care. One position is for a nurse in home care for individuals under 65 years old, and the other is for home care for individuals with assistance decisions.

Our workplace is located at Fyrisborgsgatan 1, and this is where we start when we make home visits. The licensed staff of the care committee sit together on the same floor. The shared facilities and proximity to colleagues simplify daily work and make it easy to gather in professional groups, various workgroups, and for joint development and training initiatives.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will have a central role where you, with the patient in focus, contribute with your expertise, judgment, and commitment. The work is varied and gives you the opportunity to truly make a difference in your area.

Your more specific job duties include:

  • Assessing, implementing, and planning the need for health and medical services (HSL) interventions, as well as following up and evaluating treatment results.
  • Guiding and delegating HSL tasks to care staff.
  • Being responsible for medication management.
  • Participating in team collaboration around the patient.

As a nurse, you plan your workdays based on the patients' needs and work closely in a team with other nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the operations manager.

In the group, there is good support, and we strive for you, together with us, to develop both the operations and your own profession in a close and secure collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a B driver's license. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have good experience with documentation and working in digital systems.

As a person, you dare to stand by your opinions and take responsibility for your decisions. You adapt easily when something changes and see opportunities in new situations. You collaborate well with others and meet people in a responsive and smooth manner. Additionally, you listen, communicate, and handle conflicts constructively. You can also empathize with others' situations without taking over their feelings.
