Our Operations

Our field of operations includes cardiac and pulmonary medicine, clinical physiology, and thoracic surgery. Within our field, there is much development and research that is exciting to be a part of!

On ward 50F, we provide pre- and post-operative care and care for patients who are ready for discharge and waiting for a place in the municipality. For these patients, we have 8 care places open around the clock. In addition, we also have a daytime activity in Cardiac Care on the ward, which means that patients are cared for during the day with us for procedures such as ablation, angiography, pacemaker replacement, electrical cardioversion, etc. We have a high pace of work that can change quickly, but we help each other, support one another, and have fun every day!

Your Mission

As a summer substitute with us at 50F, you are part of our wonderful team. You will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge in nursing and work with medical technology. We have clear routines and are keen to support and help each other. We are proud of our department and have a very nice atmosphere in the workgroup!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student from semester 3 or a medical student from semester 4. You have good knowledge and skills in basic nursing and preferably experience working in hospital care. It is an advantage if you are experienced in taking blood samples, measuring blood pressure, performing EKGs, and can insert catheters.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge and skills in basic nursing and preferably experience in the practical aspects we described above. You have a great interest in both cardiac care and general nursing. You have a good demeanor and can work both independently and in a team with varying work pace. Furthermore, it is important that you enjoy working with people and have good collaborative and communicative skills.

We Offer

We offer you a temporary position for the summer of 2026, with a start date to be agreed upon. We prefer that you can work the entire summer period from week 25-33, and you are welcome to start the introduction earlier. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with a degree of employment that can be discussed.
