Our Operations

ST physician position in clinical neurophysiology at the section for clinical neurophysiology, Uppsala University Hospital. The section belongs to the Neuroscience area which consists of the sections of clinical neurophysiology, neurosurgery, neurology, and ophthalmology. The unit's profile areas include advanced diagnostics of severe epilepsy including intracranial epilepsy investigations, intraoperative monitoring, and diagnostics of neuromuscular diseases. The department has 30 employees, including 11 specialist doctors and 4 ST doctors.

Your Mission

As an ST doctor with us, you will work with various clinical examinations of the nervous system to investigate and diagnose neuromuscular diseases and epilepsy under the guidance of experienced colleagues. The work includes analysis of conducted examinations such as EEG and nerve conduction studies, patient consultations with EMG and ultrasound examinations of both children and adults, as well as acute day duty activities. With proximity to Uppsala University, there is an opportunity for you to participate in research and development within neurophysiological diagnostics.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed their foundation year (AT) and is interested in working in a patient-oriented diagnostic specialty. A completed dissertation in a relevant field is an advantage.

Your Competence

We would like you to be proactive, have problem-solving analytical skills, be responsible and meticulous, and have good collaboration skills.

We Offer

We offer you a full-time position as an ST doctor, starting with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are scheduled during weekdays. Start date is according to agreement.
