Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for a dietitian for a shared position between Enköping Health Center and Örsundsbro Health Center!

We are currently offering a permanent position at 75%, distributed as 60% at Enköping Health Center and 15% at Örsundsbro Health Center. Start date by agreement, probationary employment may apply.

Your assignment

As a dietitian in Close Care and Health, you will work at the primary care level. The assignment includes the entire population of Uppsala County, across all ages, including child health and elderly care. The tasks consist of dietary treatment and counseling for patients individually and in groups, as well as internal training of staff, investigating, treating, and preventing diseases and symptoms related to diet. There is also the possibility to work partially remotely.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

• Conducting nutritional assessments and evaluations of patients' nutritional status.
• Designing and implementing individually tailored meal plans to meet patients' specific needs and goals.
• Providing advice and support to patients with diet-related health issues, such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive problems.
• Educating and informing patients, families, and care teams about nutrition-related topics and best practices for healthy eating.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated care plan.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed dietitian. Experience in primary care is an advantage. The work requires good collaboration skills, and you should enjoy and have experience working in teams, as well as the ability to work independently. You have a strong ability and willingness to develop the operations and collaboration, both within the health center and with neighboring healthcare providers.

As a person, you are clear in your communication and structured in your approach to work. You have good pedagogical skills, are attentive, and can easily establish contact with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

About our organization

At Enköping Health Center, we strive to maintain a good work environment and satisfied patients. We have about 9,000 registered patients and we are 40 employees working in teams. The health center is beautifully located next to the Gröngarn Nature Reserve in Enköping, and for those who wish, there is an opportunity to take a walk or run during lunch breaks or visit our gym. Enköping Health Center belongs to the Enköping operational area in the Close Care and Health administration, Region Uppsala, and is centrally located adjacent to the Hospital in Enköping. The organization also includes a branch in Fjärdhundra, where partial service may occur based on the needs of the organization. We have a good exchange with the hospital, and there is an emergency reception adjacent to us. Our patients come from both urban and surrounding rural areas.

Örsundsbro Health Center belongs to the Close Care and Health administration and is the small health center with big opportunities! We are located in fresh premises in the countryside between Uppsala and Enköping with parking spaces right outside the health center. Here, all professions work closely together to provide the best care, and you can now become part of our team. We are 21 employees who together work towards the best interests of the patient, and we value a good, stimulating work environment with personalized solutions.
