The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Uppsala University Hospital, in partnership with Uppsala University, invites you to become part of our dynamic, forward-thinking team in Uppsala, Sweden.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a surgeon with ambition, excellence, and dedication. The ideal candidate should:
- Be proficient in coronary revascularization, aortic valve replacement, and mitral valve repair, operating independently with confidence.
- Excel in teamwork and possess a proven ability to foster collaboration within a high-performing group.
- Have experience and interest in research—though not mandatory, this will set you apart.
- Preferably have 5+ years of independent surgical experience (but talented candidates with less experience are strongly encouraged to apply).
