Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Ecology
The Department of Ecology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala is looking for 1-2 laboratory assistants for the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for bee health. The position is located at the department where the national reference laboratory for bee health is situated. Here, analyses of samples sent in from beekeepers with suspected diseases are performed.
We are looking for candidates with a background in natural sciences, preferably with laboratory science experience and expertise in microbiological and molecular biological laboratory work. You should have good collaboration skills, be organized and responsible, as well as able to work independently.
Location: Uppsala. Employment type: Fixed-term employment for 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. Scope: 50-100%, as agreed. Start date: 2026-05-11, or as agreed.
