Our Operations

The Postoperative Unit within the anesthesia section has 15 care places and receives patients around the clock. Patients primarily come from surgical and orthopedic operations and during on-call hours also from other surgical clinics, with collaboration also occurring with the Central Intensive Care Unit (CIVA). Postoperative care is constantly evolving to meet patients' needs for care.

Your Mission

Now you have the chance to challenge yourself and come to a very pleasant workplace! The workplace is characterized by a varied job where you constantly meet new patients with different types of postoperative monitoring needs. You will learn everything from simpler postoperative monitoring to caring for patients needing postoperative intermediate care and postoperative intensive care. Here you will constantly learn new things and develop your skills.

You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will also work independently. There is also an opportunity to shadow in the department if you wish.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with experience in the profession.

You always put the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. You are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to good cooperation and a good working environment. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach while seeing opportunities in changes. We Offer

We offer a permanent employment of 100% with a start date according to agreement. You will also be offered:

• At least four weeks of introduction, as well as mentorship during the first months.
• Continuous further education such as postoperative training
• University course in Postoperative and Surgical Intermediate Care, 7.5 credits
• The Wellness House, with a gym and a number of group training sessions as well as access to physiotherapists and massage among many other things
