Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for someone interested in working as a physiotherapist with us. You will have a varied, stimulating, and developing job. We offer a temporary position at 80% starting August 3, 2026, until March 31, 2027.

Your mission

Your tasks will include primary assessment, treatment, follow-up, and training of patients with symptoms, diseases, and injuries in the musculoskeletal system. Teamwork and group treatment of other groups are also included. You will have independent responsibility for assessment and treatment, where the choice of measures should be based on available evidence and existing guidelines.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist and would prefer if you have previous experience working in primary care. You must understand the importance of good patient flows at the health center, and the work requires good collaboration skills and enjoyment of working in teams with other professionals, as well as the ability to work independently. We also prefer candidates with experience in leading groups.

As a person, you are clear in your communication and structured in your approach. You enjoy thinking innovatively that can also be implemented in practice. You have good pedagogical skills and can easily establish contact with both patients and colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Our operations

Örsundsbro Health Center is located in fresh premises in the countryside between Uppsala and Enköping. We are 21 employees who together work for the best interest of the patient; we care about a good stimulating work environment with personal solutions. The health center is a central and important place for the population, which makes our work especially valuable.
