The hospitals in the west are an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consist of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Welcome to the VGR SV Pharmacy

The Västra Götaland Region is responsible for the supply of medicines to its healthcare units in its own right.

The VGR SV Pharmacy is the unit within the hospitals in the west that is responsible for the supply of medicines to the hospitals' healthcare units and works with other pharmaceutical issues. The VGR SV Pharmacy is organizationally part of the Diagnostics and Service department together with Radiology and Medical Technology.

The pharmacy within the hospitals in the west works for all four hospitals within the administration, but employees are employed either at Kungälv Hospital or Alingsås Hospital.

We are now looking for a summer substitute at Alingsås Hospital to work with the supply of medicines at the hospital.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who finds pharmaceuticals interesting and wants to help us with the supply of medicines to our hospitals during the summer!

As a person, you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoy working independently. You are also responsible, meticulous, and good at organizing and structuring your tasks.

The work requires good IT skills.

We offer you

A summer substitute position with the task of ordering and unpacking medicines at the hospital's healthcare units. You will also refill medicines in the medicine vending machine in the hospital's shared medicine storage and pack fluid trolleys.

Qualifications

Some experience in working with medicines is desirable, for example as a pharmacy technician, but students in the pharmacy or pharmaceutical programs and newly graduated pharmacists are also of interest.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
