Lärkvägen's home care consists of four different teams, with the Stampen area being one of them. The Stampen team consists of about 20 employees of varying ages and different work experiences. The Stampen team operates from the office at Lärkvägen 4, and we use both cars and e-bikes to reach our clients. Our geographical area includes Stampen, Plangatan, Holmalund, Bälinge, Stockslycke, Ängabo, Maryd, and Hjälmared.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In our operations at Lärkvägen's home care, we work from a salutogenic perspective, which means we focus on the resources and abilities that the client has. We adapt support, care, and nursing based on individual needs.

In your role as a nursing assistant, you will work independently but also collaborate with your colleagues to achieve the goals of the operations. You will work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs for assistance. You will primarily work with good care, service, and social interaction, but also with documentation, planning, health and medical tasks, and development work. We walk, cycle, or drive between our clients.

As a nursing assistant, you are flexible and responsible, as your workdays involve everything from alarm management, commitments as a fixed care contact, administering medication according to prescriptions, daily care and assistance, to sitting down and talking for a while with those in need. You are, together with your colleagues, the key person around the client, and you work together to create a good life for the individual.

You also participate as a fixed care contact during welcome conversations, establish and update implementation plans, maintain contact with relatives and other professionals, and document according to current legislation in our operational system.

Much has also happened in digitalization for home care in recent years, and we predominantly work through our work mobiles. In the mobile, staff can see their daily schedules, sign medications, and document important events in our journal system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• Trained nursing assistant.
• Well acquainted with digital platforms, following workplace action plans, policies, and guidelines, as well as the Social Services Act paragraph SoL §1:1.
• Holds a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have other advanced training, for example in dementia, which the employer assesses as relevant, as well as experience working in elderly care with dementia or psychogeriatric focus. It is also advantageous if you have experience in other relevant assignments or roles as a nursing assistant.

To thrive in the role, you are secure and act responsibly and independently with a clear client focus. You act according to decisions made, plans, and guidelines and contribute to their establishment and follow-up. You have a good approach towards those you meet, enjoy creating new and good relationships, and have good collaboration skills. You are also interested in continuing to build our operations and are flexible in changing circumstances in your work.
