About the Department

Our department consists of ward 45 with a focus on Hematology and Infection located at NÄL. At Uddevalla Hospital, we have a hematology outpatient clinic and day care.

As a nurse in our ward, you will meet both patients with hematological diseases and patients with infectious diseases. We provide qualified care for patients with hematological diseases. The majority of patients are admitted acutely, and we have a large variation in terms of lengths of stay, diagnoses, treatments, and ages. Many of our patients have a complicated care process with an acute onset of illness that requires rapid and adequate management.

About the Position

We offer a job with great variation and development potential. Here, we conduct everything from emergency care bordering on intensive care to palliative care. We work a lot with medical technical work such as various central access points, chemotherapy and antibiotic treatment, blood products, and other intravenous treatments. With us, you will gain broad and deep competence in the management of patients with hematological diseases as well as infectious diseases.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience in infectious care/hematology, emergency care, and palliative care.
