We are now looking for a highly experienced IT Security Technician for a qualified consulting assignment with our client. You will be part of an established organization consisting of several IT security technicians and have a central role in the client and VDI area. The assignment places high demands on independence, responsibility, and technical depth.

About the role

As an IT Security Technician, you will work with the operation, further development, and management of platform solutions for both physical clients and VDI environments. The role entails overall responsibility in the area, where you are expected to lead, support, and act as an expert resource for both colleagues and adjacent IT functions. You will also handle the most complex incidents and actively contribute to developing work methods, monitoring, and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Maintaining and further developing platform solutions for physical client installations
• Setting up and continuously updating packages for physical client installations based on current client models
• Updating drivers, BIOS, and corresponding components for client installation packages
• Maintaining and renewing client configurations
• Managing and further developing platform solutions for VDI environments
• Deploying new pools in the VDI platform
• Updating and managing packages for VDI pools
• Conducting testing and evaluation of incoming products
• Packaging and reinstalling solutions within the above areas
• Documenting all parts according to applicable guidelines
• Leading, training, and supporting other IT technicians with your specialist competence
• Being cohesive and leading within the client area
• Solving advanced problems and complex operational disturbances
• Further developing monitoring of clients across all areas
• Acting as a sounding board within the client area as well as generally within the IT workplace area

Level 5

• Knowledge: Very high competence level, perceived as an expert in the field
• Experience: Very extensive experience in complex IT environments
• Leadership: Significant experience in leading roles
• Independence: Very high

Requirements for technical capacity and experience

To succeed in the assignment, we see that you meet the following requirements:

• Ability to work very independently and quickly adapt to new environments
• At least ten (10) years of work experience in management areas
