Empathetic Labor Law Advisor – Temporary Pool
Imagine if you could use both your skills and creativity while doing good for others? We are Vårdförbundet, a professional and trade union working to ensure that midwives, biomedical analysts, radiology nurses, and nurses have a good working life, reasonable salaries, and sustainable working hours. Our employees work with both heart and mind to help Vårdförbundet's 117,000 members develop in their professions. Welcome to apply for the best job!
About the Role
As an advisor, you will be an important part of our support to members. You will answer questions related to labor law, employment conditions, salary advice, and more. The work is conducted both via phone and digital channels. Half of the working hours are scheduled phone shifts, while the rest consists of responding to written inquiries, in-depth cases, and collaborating with colleagues. Our opening hours are weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00.
We are looking for someone who
- has the ability to express empathy for the members' situations and needs,
- is a confident and clear communicator who enjoys collaborating,
- has relevant academic education or equivalent experience,
- and has good knowledge of labor law and collective agreements.
It is an advantage if you
- have personal experience from healthcare, especially within one of our four professional groups,
- have previously held a union position,
- have worked as an advisor or in a similar role.
We offer you
a meaningful and developing job where you make a difference for our members, a work environment characterized by commitment, knowledge, and collaboration, the opportunity to influence both your work and your working hours, attractive benefits such as wellness grants, occupational pension, and insurance. Temporary pool workers work on available shifts that arise at short notice, e.g., temporary sick leave or planned leave.
Location and Employment
You will be based in one of our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå, Örebro, or Linköping. The employment is a temporary position that starts as soon as possible. The application deadline is February 16, but we will contact candidates continuously.
For inquiries about the position, please contact section manager Per Karlberg.
