Assignment Description:

We are looking for an experienced HVAC&R Design Engineer and Technical Project Lead to work with the design and delivery of customized cooling systems for industrial and offshore environments, including offshore platforms and offshore wind power installations. The role combines hands-on engineering design with project coordination responsibilities, covering the full lifecycle from concept and calculation to production follow-up and customer support.

What you will work on:

• Design and technical calculations of customer-specific refrigeration and cooling systems for offshore and industrial applications
• Develop and review P&ID and general arrangement (GA) drawings
• Coordinate with certification bodies, customers, and suppliers
• Follow up on internal and external manufacturing activities
• Participate in procurement activities related to project components and systems
• Contribute to product development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support during quotation and tender phases together with sales teams
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for production and delivery
• Perform occasional site visits to customers, suppliers, and production facilities

What you bring:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, HVAC, or energy systems
• Strong expertise and hands-on experience with industrial refrigeration and cooling systems
• Ability to perform system design, sizing, and technical calculations
• Experience working with P&ID and mechanical layout drawings
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, customers, and certification bodies
• Background in production follow-up and technical project coordination
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills in English
• Structured, independent, and results-driven working style with strong problem-solving mindset
