About the company

Avaron AB is a growing consulting company focused on technology, finance, and operational support. We match your expertise with the most interesting assignments in the market and offer a platform where your development is at the center.

About the assignment

We are looking for a senior IAM architect for an assignment within the public sector where the need for a more unified and secure management of e-identities, permissions, and access is highly prioritized. The assignment involves conducting a feasibility study to lay the groundwork for a phased implementation of a comprehensive solution for identity and access management. The environment is characterized by several organizations with varying degrees of maturity and solutions, and the goal is to create a robust structure that supports long-term information security and regulatory compliance.

The ultimate goal is for the municipality's systems, programs, and digital services to be able to work with attribute-based access control.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a feasibility study for identity, access, and permission management (IAM/IAG).
  • Gather information through interviews with key personnel and compile the results into a report.
  • Develop proposals for a roadmap on how identities, permissions, and access should be managed moving forward.
  • Assess cost-effectiveness based on the acquisition and maintenance of the recommended solution.
  • Propose permission structures and overall solution alternatives, including the need for changes/replacements of existing AD and replacement of MIM.
  • Recommend suitable solutions/services/products (open source or commercial) as well as management of systems and resources.
  • Develop an implementation plan for phased introduction and scaling of the technical system solution.
Requirements
  • Very good competence in several technical domains within IAG and IAM (at least 9–12 years of experience).
  • Solid knowledge of how quality attributes are affected by different infrastructure solutions (at least 9–12 years of experience).
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure and hybrid solutions (at least 9–12 years of experience).
  • Experience with various operational options, such as on-premises, cloud services, and virtualization, and how these choices affect quality attributes (at least 9–12 years of experience).
  • Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish or English to deliver clear and concrete documentation.
  • Objectivity in advising – not tied to a specific product vendor.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience from larger environments within the public sector.
Application

Our positions may be filled before the application deadline, as we process applications continuously. We therefore recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
