Part-time Support Technician for Global Health and Pharmaceutical Company

Their facility in Uppsala is one of the world's most modern production facilities for intravenous nutritional solutions with a high-tech production process.

We are now looking for a part-time support technician who wants to support the operations in a varied and practical role. Here you will primarily work with production-related IT support, where you perform planned IT activities and ensure that daily IT environments function smoothly, both for production operations and office users. You will work closely with an experienced IT team where the focus is on structure, quality, and precision in the work. The work includes, among other things, support and installation of Windows clients, permission assignments in SAP, administration in Active Directory, and simpler management of Linux and open source environments. You will follow clear instructions, ensure documentation, and deliver service to the operations in a professional manner.

The assignment is a consulting assignment via Academic Work where you will work at the client's site approximately 2-3 days/week. The assignment is expected to last at least 6 months with good chances of extension. We are flexible with which days you work, but it is important that you can maintain consistent availability for the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Perform planned IT activities and follow instructions related to the production's IT environment
• Provide support to internal users, primarily related to Windows clients, networks, and permissions
• Assign permissions in SAP and ensure that the correct accesses are in place according to routine
• Set up new Windows clients according to established instructions
• Connect clients to the network and Active Directory and assign licenses
• Handle simpler tasks related to Linux and open source solutions
• Support in the daily work with production IT together with the team

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Are studying an IT-related program at a post-secondary level and have at least 1 year left of studies, or have another primary occupation
• Have previous experience in a support role
• Are comfortable with permission administration and license assignment
• Have experience in administration in Active Directory
• Are very comfortable with SAP
• Are very comfortable with Microsoft environments
• Are very comfortable with Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as it is required to perform the work

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• Production-related IT support

As a person, you are self-driven, solution-oriented, and unpretentious. You have a logical approach and tackle problems from an analytical perspective. You should enjoy taking your own initiatives and be structured in your work approach. Since you will be working closely with other parts of the organization, it is important that you possess good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are curious about constantly learning new things to expand your competence.
