ABOUT THE POSITION
Vattenfall IT is an internal provider of IT services and support for the entire Vattenfall Group, with around 900 employees located in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the UK, Denmark, and Finland. Vattenfall IT's goal is to have an efficient IT organization with a focus on flexibility and digitalization, while delivering secure and stable services. The part of Vattenfall that works with nuclear operations has higher security requirements for its IT providers, and therefore there is a separate part of Vattenfall IT called “Nuclear Solutions.”
In 2020, the local Service Desk teams for Ringhals, Forsmark, and SKB merged into a Service Desk that supports all three license holders. In the role of IT Technician in this new team, we offer you close collaboration with nuclear power at Vattenfall, continuous professional development, knowledgeable IT colleagues, and the opportunity to shape the upcoming nuclear Service Desk at Vattenfall.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Handle standardized and non-standardized IT issues
- Analyze and solve problems by following ITIL
- Contribute to continuous improvement of daily work
- Identify, diagnose, and solve problems together with other support teams
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has at least a high school diploma, preferably in IT/technology
- Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, as required for documentation and communication
It is an advantage if you have:
- Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent that we assess as comparable
- Previous work experience in IT Support
- Previous experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange
- Experience with BMC Remedy as a ticketing system
