The Department of University-wide IT works with strategic IT and digitalization issues and is a service organization for shared services where the mission includes infrastructure, management, service, and support. The department has about 200 employees divided into five units. We are now looking for two IT architects for the architecture unit.

Job Responsibilities

As an IT architect, you will be part of a group of about 5 IT architects who together support the IT organization in strategic and tactical issues regarding everything from infrastructure to operationally relevant matters. The group collectively covers all architectural layers from infrastructure to business processes. We are particularly looking for reinforcement in the areas of Microsoft 365, information architecture, and integration architecture.

The work includes, for example, modeling processes and solutions, developing target architectures, mapping the IT landscape, and formulating guidelines and strategies.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that the employer finds equivalent.
• Experience working as an IT architect.
• Excellent ability to document and communicate your work in a pedagogical manner in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.
• Excellent ability to describe, model, visualize, and analyze complex structures, processes, and relationships.
• Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, such as being engaged, unpretentious, and service-oriented.

Desirable/Meritorious Experiences

• Experience working with established methods and frameworks for IT architecture.
• Certification in IT architecture or equivalent education.
• Experience working in larger and complex organizations.
• Experience in information architecture and integration architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Experience in cloud and hybrid architecture.

About the Employment
