About the job

Seniorcenter is located at a central address in Täby and operates a service aimed at creating meeting places for the elderly that lead to a meaningful existence in a stimulating environment. The work at Seniorcenter is based on the Social Services Act and its portal paragraph. The target group is residents of Täby who cannot fully participate in the social and cultural offerings available in the community. Various forms of activities are organized to provide information, create positive social interaction, and offer physical activities for the target group.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Who are you?

• You may be a student currently studying to become a social worker, health educator, or similar.
• Health educator or relevant academic education related to health and well-being, with a focus on health and technology is an advantage.
• Experience in health-promoting work and a good ability to meet people based on their individual lifestyles.
• You should be flexible, attentive, and creative in your work situation, as well as have a good ability for both collaboration and independent work.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of documentation requirements and previous experience with digital systems.

You will work in a team with colleagues where the needs and wishes of the visitors are important for how the work should be carried out. You will collaborate with various internal and external actors related to the operations, aiming to support and stimulate visitors to maintain and strengthen their own abilities. You will lead and develop tailored group training activities for the target group.

Together with other staff and management, contribute to the positive development of the operations according to the goals and guidelines set for Seniorcenter's activities.
