Ekonomipartner Umeå AB is a local and growing accounting firm with a strong connection to Umeå's business community. Our assignments include ongoing bookkeeping, year-end accounts, tax returns, tax advice, payroll administration, and business support.

About the role

As an accounting assistant with us, you will work independently with ongoing bookkeeping for a number of clients, but with more support in everyday tasks than what is required for an experienced accountant. You will be responsible for recording incoming materials, making reconciliations, and working according to our routines and processes.

Once you feel secure in the ongoing work, you will gradually move on to working with year-end accounts, tax returns, and client dialogue. The speed at which this happens varies between individuals – we adapt the setup according to your conditions and how you develop in the role. You will always have someone to consult with and receive continuous guidance along the way.

If you have an interest in payroll, there is also the opportunity to shape the role so that it eventually includes some work as a payroll consultant.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has recently graduated as a business economist or completed a KY or YH education with a focus on accounting. You do not need to have worked with accounting before, but we expect you to have a good theoretical foundation to build upon.

You are meticulous, structured, and quick to adopt new working methods. You have good general IT skills, enjoy digital environments, and are not afraid to learn new systems. The most important thing for us is that you have an interest in finance, a desire to develop, and a positive attitude towards working both independently and collaboratively.

Practical information
