ABOUT THE POSITION

Our partner is a global business-driven finance company that offers financing services to other businesses.

As a Financial Operations Analyst for our client, you will be part of a dedicated team that is responsible for operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. In this role, you will hold a key position where you contribute to providing qualified support and ensuring that the supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.

You will work closely with both salespeople and supplier partners and be responsible for producing analyses, reports, and decision-making materials in Excel related to various types of bonus and split payments. The role requires you to have a holistic perspective, good structure, and the ability to ensure that all parameters comply with systems, processes, and applicable cooperation agreements.

Accuracy and accountability are central, as you deliver correct and timely materials to our partners and have an understanding of the accounting aspects behind the numbers. To give you the best possible start in the role, you will receive comprehensive on-site training.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment with our partner. This consulting assignment initially extends for three to six months, with the possibility of extension. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Provide qualified support and manage administrative tasks within the area
  • Produce structured reports and decision-making materials in Excel
  • Be responsible for the registration, control, and quality assurance of invoices
  • Work with analysis, reconciliation, and accounting of bonus-related provisions

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary education in finance or another equivalent education that we assess as relevant for the position
  • Fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as both languages are used in daily work
  • Has previous experience working in finance, for example, as an accountant, auditor, or similar
  • Has very good knowledge of Excel and is used to working with numbers and analyses

We consider it an advantage if you:

  • Live or have connections to Umeå
  • Have previous experience from the banking and finance sector
  • Fluent in Finnish in both spoken and written form
