At the Department of Diagnostics and Intervention, we conduct research and teaching in nine different subject areas in close collaboration with the four Norrland regions. We have internationally recognized research environments where the breadth of subject areas enables innovation and collaboration across borders. Most of our researchers and teachers work clinically, and our facilities are located at the regional hospitals in Östersund, Sunderbyn, Sundsvall, and Umeå - right in the heart of the operations.

We are now looking for a study administrator for the department to work full-time and permanently with start date by agreement.

You will be part of a team of administrators working with finance, HR, communication, and study administration.

Responsibilities

In the role of study administrator, you will perform independent work based on applied guidelines and practices at the university. The tasks involve responsibility for student registration and reporting of results, room booking, administering written examinations, and handling the distribution of exam papers. Management of course syllabi, reading lists, and supporting teachers and the study director in their daily work are other tasks included. An important part of the job is to contribute to the development of processes and routines for efficient study administration with high quality. Other administrative tasks within the department may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma or equivalent. You have several years of experience in administrative work and good computer skills. Experience within higher education is highly meritorious. It is also advantageous if you have worked with various types of student contacts.

Since communication within the department occurs in both Swedish and English, we expect you to have a good ability to express yourself in both languages, both orally and in writing.

The job places very high demands on independence and the ability to handle many cases simultaneously during peak times. You need to have a good sense of service, ability to collaborate, and be meticulous in your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
