We are now looking for a communicator with a focus on digitalization and accessibility in healthcare for a project lasting 2 years. In the communication department, we work with the region's overall communication. We work with the region's website, intranet, 1177, social media, communication planning, branding issues, and media relations. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a communicator with us, you provide essential service and enable initiatives that impact many.

Do you want to use communication to simplify healthcare and contribute to more accessible information for patients? In this project, you will work in a cross-functional project team within the resident services area to systematize and simplify information in summons. The goal is to reduce the number of missed appointments and patients who arrive unprepared for visits. The work includes finding solutions for how we manage and send summons digitally and on paper. This includes inventorying patient information, structuring and quality assuring information, developing standard texts, and making summons accessible. Together with the operations, you will develop requirements for templates and create a systematic approach for digital summons to the 1177 inbox. The project is funded by the Efficiency Delegation.

As a communicator in this project, you will become a key person in the work with digital summons in Region Västerbotten and contribute to accessible healthcare. To succeed, it is important that you are communicative, unpretentious, and enjoy working in a team. Additionally, you need to be able to work at a fast pace, work independently, and navigate a complex organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have an academic degree in behavioral science, IT, media and communication studies, or another equivalent education. You have at least one year of work experience in communication.

We are looking for someone with experience in business development and who is accustomed to working based on requirements for accessibility and plain language. We would like you to have good knowledge of handling different systems, large amounts of information, accessibility-compliant design (WCAG), and plain language. You are meticulous, unpretentious, and have an easy time building good relationships. You also enjoy working independently and can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and systems.

We would prefer if you have previously worked with communication to improve healthcare flows or have experience in communication and digitalization issues within healthcare.
