ABOUT THE POSITION

Our partner is a global business-driven finance company that offers financing services to other businesses.

In the role of junior business analyst, you will manage and develop the backlog related to financial transactions. You will ensure that business requirements, regulations, and technical solutions are met in well-formulated and prioritized backlog items, focusing on correct, traceable, and efficient payment and accounting flows. The role involves close collaboration with development teams, finance, and other business functions.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment at our partner. This consulting assignment initially extends over three to six months, with the possibility of extension. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Break down and formulate requirements and user stories related to payments, accounting, reconciliation, and refunds
• Prioritize and manage the backlog based on business value, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure correct handling of transaction flows, including error handling and discrepancies
• Collaborate with development teams and business to ensure quality solutions and deliveries

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed post-secondary education in finance, IT, or equivalent work experience
• Has experience working with backlogs, requirements specification, and prioritization in digital development projects
• Has an understanding of financial transactions, payment flows, and basic accounting principles
• Ability to translate business needs and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work
