ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is a leading player in advanced technology and manufactures complex products for use in systems with very high demands on quality, traceability, and safety. The products are found in a security-classified industry, which places great demands on every detail of the manufacturing process. As a component engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right electronic components are selected, specified, and followed up. You will work with components throughout their entire lifecycle: from selection and qualification to purchasing, analysis, and support in production. The role combines technology with practical issues regarding logistics, availability, and delivery reliability.

In your daily work, this means that you will develop technical requirements, review test and analysis reports, manage component-related deviations, and support production in case of problems. You will also have contact with suppliers on technical issues and contribute to projects, changes, and improvement work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for selection, qualification, and lifecycle management of EEE components (Electrical, Electronic & Electromechanical)
• Develop technical purchasing and requirement specifications as well as instructions for incoming control
• Analyze and interpret test and analysis reports
• Support production through root cause analyses, deviation management, and corrective actions
• Collaborate technically with suppliers and contribute to quotation, change, and project work

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have completed post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical physics, or equivalent experience
• Have previous work experience from a role as a technical purchaser, logistics engineer, or project manager in the technology industry
• Have the ability to work structured in projects and manage multiple parallel tasks
• Are fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work
• The position requires placement in a security class where Swedish citizenship is a requirement

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience collaborating with suppliers and external parties on technical issues
• Experience from the electronics industry, preferably in the role of component engineer, purchaser, or logistics engineer
