At Elektroautomatik, through the Technical Service business area, we are now looking for a driven and committed technical engineer to join our team in Gothenburg. We already have strong teams in Gothenburg, Skövde, and Södertälje and are now continuing our expansion with even more competent colleagues.

About the role:

As a technical engineer with us, you combine the best of automation, production, and maintenance. You will work on developing, optimizing, and ensuring our customers' technical solutions within production and industrial automation. This involves participating in advanced improvement projects and ensuring high operational reliability through preventive and corrective measures.

The assignments are varied and can include everything from programming and optimizing PLC and robot systems, technical analyses, troubleshooting, and commissioning, to developing maintenance strategies and driving digitalization projects. You will collaborate closely with production, technology, and management at our customers in the manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical, and process industries.

As we continuously develop our operations, you will also have the opportunity to influence work methods, culture, and direction – and if you wish to take a leading role in this work, there are good opportunities.

This assignment means that you will work on-site at one of our customers.

• Development, optimization, and maintenance of automated production solutions.

• Programming and configuring PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.

• Integrating and troubleshooting robot systems.

• Conducting technical analyses, tests, and commissioning.

• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.

• Driving projects from feasibility study to implementation.

• Maintaining close dialogue with customers and acting as a technical expert in improvement work.

• Possibly conducting courses in your area of expertise.

• Technical education in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, maintenance, or equivalent work experience that can be verified.

• Driver's license B.

• You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• You have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

• Several years of experience in industry or similar technical fields.

• PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi, ABB).

• Robot systems (ABB, FANUC, KUKA).

• SCADA/HMI systems.

• Troubleshooting and commissioning of automation systems.

• Maintenance systems (SAP PM, Maximo, IFS).

• Vision and camera systems (Cognex).

• Project management
