Description

The Regional Area of Västfastigheter construction and management has customer responsibility, acts as a representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and provides the region's operations with premises.

The Hospital Properties area SU (Sahlgrenska University Hospital), which is part of Västfastigheter construction and management, is responsible for customer relations, properties within the area and their technical systems, as well as development to create safe and robust premises in a socially important operation. The units within the area are responsible for the management, rental, and development of Östra Hospital, Sahlgrenska Hospital, and Mölndal Hospital. We are now looking for a property manager who will work with external rental of premises, technical security installations in these, parking, accessibility issues, etc.

Responsibilities

As a property manager with us, you will work with external rental of premises for the management of Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU). You will become the hub in the process of renting and adapting rented premises to SU's operations. In the role, you will represent Västfastigheter and SU towards private and public landlords as well as authorities in connection with renting or renegotiating external premises. The role also includes project ownership for projects related to technical security installations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting lease negotiations, preparing procurement documents, and ensuring that necessary building adaptations are carried out according to the requirements of the Västra Götaland region. You will have close collaboration with our technical managers and project leaders who belong to our sister unit External Rental.

In the role, internal management assignments will also be included as time allows. These will be located at Mölndal Hospital and carried out in close cooperation with technical managers and project leaders within the own unit. The distribution between external rentals and internal management assignments may vary over time. You act as the representative of the Västra Götaland region in rental disputes until the matter goes to court. You may also act as a tenant representative in the adaptation of premises.

The position is located at the Region's House in Gothenburg, but you will also work from our office at Mölndal Hospital. Other travel may be included in the position, and where possible, we travel by public transport.

Qualifications

You have a university degree in a relevant field, preferably in community building with a focus on rental law and/or construction technology/property. Alternatively, other education combined with experience assessed as equivalent. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in the construction and/or property industry where you have worked with rental legal issues, negotiations, construction project management, and/or property management. Experience of working in public operations is an advantage.

As a person, you have an easy time structuring your days and your work, as well as the ability to plan effectively. You are good at creating and maintaining good customer relationships, have an easy time communicating and expressing yourself both verbally and in writing. Your collaborative ability is based on long-term good relationships, through your attentiveness and holistic view. Your driving nature makes you self-sufficient and able to make decisions and act on them when necessary.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
