Job Description

Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer passionate about technology and looking to work for an employer that values both your skills and development? AFRY Geotechnics Southwest is now seeking you who have worked for a few years as a geotechnical engineer to our offices in Gothenburg, Malmö, and Helsingborg.

AFRY is one of the leading players in geotechnics in Sweden with over 100 employees. We work closely together nationally and within various subgroups to further develop our working methods and projects.

The Geotechnics Southwest section currently consists of over 30 competent junior and senior employees, field operations within the regions of southern, western, and central Sweden, as well as an advanced geotechnical laboratory. Our section has won several large framework agreements and exciting projects, which is why we are looking for more engaged geotechnical engineers who want to join us on our journey. You will have the opportunity to work with varying geology and geotechnical conditions throughout the region - from limestone bedrock in Skåne to clay-filled valleys in Västra Götaland.

Within our business area Road & Rail, we currently have over 1400 employees who, together with our colleagues in other areas at AFRY, create the sustainable solutions of the future.

Your tasks:

• Lead section-specific geotechnical assignments
• Be the technical responsible geotechnical engineer in larger multidisciplinary assignments
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to their development

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with extensive experience as a geotechnical engineer who wants to continue developing in a leading role. You are responsible and flexible, with an interest in working in a consulting role.
