As a Master Scheduler with us, you will have the opportunity to influence the entire value stream, work in a dynamic team, and develop processes that truly make a difference.

About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for jet engines form Engines together, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for aircraft and rocket engines are developed and manufactured. They also work with engine maintenance.

GKN Aerospace has production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. They also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

You will belong to Governmental Operations, a business that operates in a complex and socially important environment where reliability, quality, and long-term planning are crucial. With us, you will work in a cross-functional context where logistics and material planning are at the center of effective deliveries to our customers. We offer a workplace characterized by collaboration, continuous development, and a strong focus on improvement, with good opportunities for you to grow and make an impact.

Your Responsibilities

As a Master Scheduler, you play a key role in ensuring material availability, both in the short and long term. You work closely with purchasing, production, programs, and logistics to optimize material flows and reduce capital binding.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Creating spare parts forecasts and analyzing material consumption to improve planning.

  • Developing and improving analytical tools and control parameters to secure material supply and optimize capital binding.

  • Managing customer orders, including quotes, inquiries, and delivery coordination.

  • Participating in planning meetings, both internally and with suppliers as needed, and contributing to the development of working methods that improve forecast accuracy.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, solution-oriented, and has a genuine interest in Supply Chain and logistics. You thrive on collaborating across functions, building networks, and driving improvements together with others.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • A university degree in Supply Chain, logistics, or a similar field.

  • Experience in material planning or similar roles.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus.

  • Good analytical skills and a structured, proactive working style.

In addition, you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We highly value personal suitability and are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to contribute to a strong and developing team. If you are passionate about optimizing processes and ensuring that material flows work smoothly, this is a role where you can make a real difference.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where GKN's customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Application Procedure

In this recruitment, GKN Aerospace collaborates with Skill. The position is a consultancy assignment where you will initially be employed by Skill with opportunities for transition to GKN.

Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Therefore, apply today!
