Technical Manager with a focus on construction
The Västfastigheter region area for construction and management has customer responsibility, is a representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property holdings, and provides the region's operations with premises.
The position is based in Gothenburg, with workplaces in addition to the Region's House at the hospitals operated by Sjukhusen i Väster. This means that work will be carried out in Gothenburg, Alingsås, Kungälv, Angered, and Högsbo.
We are now looking for a technical manager with a focus on construction for a 12-month temporary position, with the possibility of extension!
Job Description
As a technical manager, you will be responsible for construction-related expertise for the properties within the hospitals in the west, either through your own knowledge or by ensuring that expertise is consulted when needed. In this role, you will have a good understanding of the properties' status and the operations' space needs in various types of healthcare environments. You will plan and prioritize construction measures in close collaboration with managers and the operations organization. Additionally, you will also act as support to project managers in construction-related issues and requirements. You are also expected to participate in inspections and work with technical support systems such as Faciliate and the installation database.
Qualifications
We see that you have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent post-secondary education and experience that is deemed to provide equivalent skills. We also prefer that you have experience working as a construction engineer. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
You are comfortable and accustomed to expressing yourself in speech and writing and are used to oral presentations.
