Then the position as Junior Automation Engineer with our client is the right step for you! We welcome your application.

We are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer on behalf of our client. As an Automation Engineer, you will be offered a varied role with a lot of freedom under responsibility where you have the opportunity to be creative while following established processes and routines for projects. Our client has experienced staff with expertise in many different areas, providing you with great opportunities for support and mentorship. You will belong to a team of both experienced and junior engineers where you will work from the office and, when necessary, visit clients. Our client works with both large and small companies across various industries, several of which are world leaders in their field.

In your role, you will work with programming and commissioning of automation equipment and complete systems within industrial operations such as robot cells, assembly equipment, and special machines. In the projects, you will participate from an early stage until the facility is commissioned and handed over to the client. Before commissioning, you will test the equipment in our client's unique test hall, which is located close to the office.

You will for example:

• Work with PLC programming of automation equipment, such as robot cells, assembly equipment, and special machines.
• Conduct visits and travel to clients as needed and during commissioning.
• Collaborate with other disciplines in your project group to develop the best possible solution for the client.

• Has a post-secondary technical education in automation or equivalent.
• Has good knowledge in PLC programming and/or robotic systems.
• Has a strong interest in technology.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Is fluent in both Swedish and English as both languages are communicated internally and externally.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have had internships, employment, or thesis work in the automation industry.
• Have hobby projects in technology alongside your studies.
• Have experience in programming HMI systems, drive technology, and robot programming.
• Possess knowledge in electrical engineering and electrical schematics.

Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability where we are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and curiosity to learn more. We also believe that you are responsible and structured in your work approach and skilled at interacting, structuring, and syncing your work with others in the department. Additionally, we would like you to have a positive outlook and be easy to collaborate and communicate with.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and us is that you will eventually be employed by the client.
