About the Role

As an installer and support technician for digital payment systems at Utec, you will work closely with our customers and be responsible for the installation, configuration, training, and support of cash register systems and associated hardware such as payment terminals, barcode scanners, and networking equipment.

The role combines technology, problem-solving, and customer contact. Support is provided both on-site at the customer and via phone or remote connection.

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own assignments and projects while closely collaborating with colleagues to develop both our systems and long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of digital cash register systems and payment solutions
• Training customers in our systems
• Technical support and troubleshooting on-site and via remote connection
• Support for hardware such as payment terminals and peripheral equipment
• Participation in customer projects and development of work methods

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong service commitment and enjoys customer contact
• Has a genuine interest in technology and digital systems
• Has basic IT knowledge in Windows and networking
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently; English may be required
• Has a B driver's license

We place great value on the right person. Previous experience with cash register systems or payment systems is a plus but not a requirement – we offer internal training in our own systems.
