About the Job

De la Gardiegymnasiet, one of Sweden's largest high schools, offers a wide range of programs and courses.

With nearly 2000 students and over 250 employees, it is a school full of life and opportunities. The adapted high school is one of six units at the school. In the unit, there are 2 functioning work teams, each led by a team leader.

Team Leader – Together We Create Learning for Life

Do you want to help develop an operation where every student has the opportunity to succeed? We are now looking for a team leader who, with commitment and secure leadership, wants to contribute to the continued development within our unit.

About the Assignment

As a team leader, you will be part of the unit's management group and are expected to have the employer's perspective in your daily work. The assignment spans both operational development and teaching, and involves you:

• planning, coordinating, and distributing the team's resources in a sustainable and purposeful way
• driving operational development and pedagogical development processes together with colleagues
• leading the work with documentation, follow-up, and evaluation
• being responsible for information and marketing of the operation
• teaching based on your qualifications and our students' needs

We work salutogenically and focus on creating conditions for both students and employees to succeed. Your leadership contributes to a learning environment characterized by participation, structure, and security.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher/special teacher
• is qualified to teach mathematics and/or sports. Other subject combinations are meritorious.
• has experience working with students with intellectual disabilities

You are a secure and present leader who sees strengths in both students and colleagues. You enjoy creating structure, distributing responsibilities, and leading in collaboration. With good communication skills, a relational approach, and curiosity for development, you inspire others to grow.
