In the picturesque Sötåsen outside Töreboda, you will find a center for ecological and sustainable natural resource management.

Here, organic farming is practiced, KRAV-approved animal husbandry with cows, pigs, and sheep, as well as organic gardening. We also have a dog training facility and an animal house with everything from snakes and reptiles to rodents and birds. Sötåsen has everything related to animals and nature.

We are looking for someone with competence from the green industries to teach in both the Adapted High School Program for forestry, land, and animals as well as the high school's Natural Resource Program.

Responsibilities

The position involves teaching in both school forms in subjects such as Natural Resource Management, agricultural animals, and other practical subjects. You are part of the whole regarding students' education, learning, and development. Class teaching or mentorship for students is included in the assignment. The work also involves being an active part of the team and collaborating with all of the school's activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is educated and has experience in one of the green industries, such as outdoor environment maintenance, agriculture, forestry, or animals. You are flexible, goal-oriented, and take the initiative to collaborate with colleagues. You are part of a team where different subject combinations meet. We place great importance on your ability to work integratively so that students experience the education as a whole.

Education and experience working with individuals with various disabilities.

We are looking for someone who is development- and goal-oriented, meticulous, and enjoys being in a changing everyday life with students and colleagues. You have good theoretical and practical knowledge in various fields of natural resource management.

We place students and their knowledge development at the center. Therefore, you need to be attentive to their needs, conditions, and experiences.

You are or have the potential to become a licensed vocational teacher for high school.

Requirement for a B driver's license for manual transmission.

Conditions
