Tretjärn School is looking for a certified primary school teacher

Tretjärn School is now seeking a certified primary school teacher for students in grades 1-3 who follow the adapted primary school curriculum.

You will be responsible for a group of students studying a subject area.

The position is a temporary contract until the end of the spring term, with a chance for extension.

Job Responsibilities

Tretjärn School's adapted primary school is an environment where developmental work takes center stage. Together with Tretjärn School's primary school and other schools in the Lövgärdet school area, we work towards common goals, where language-developing teaching is a prioritized area. We have a comprehensive systematic quality work to develop students' independence and communication. The work is characterized by low-arousal responses, clear pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication.

Together with your colleagues, you will be ultimately responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching at both group and individual levels based on students' needs and conditions. Your teaching is based on science and proven experience and is derived from students' results and needs.

You see good relationships with students and guardians as a natural part of your work and create engaging learning environments based on clear and low-arousal leadership.

About the School

Tretjärn School's adapted primary school is located in southern Lövgärdet in Angered. Here, students from grades 1 to 3 attend. The school is close to Vättlefjäll and Surtesjön, where there are good opportunities for outdoor teaching and wonderful nature experiences, play, and movement every day, all year round. At Tretjärn School's adapted primary school, we help each other; our students are everyone's students! We believe in the strength of working together with others. We strive forward and have a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and parents. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for grades F-3 and has experience in pedagogical work in an adapted primary school. You are familiar with ICT both in teaching and as a working tool and have knowledge of low-arousal responses.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience working with students with intellectual disabilities. Similarly, if you have worked with AAC or are motivated to learn more about alternative and augmentative communication.
