About us

Järbo Friskola is a smaller school and preschool run as a non-profit organization with strong local engagement. We have about 65 children and students from preschool to grade 6. With us, you will find a high staff-to-student ratio, small student groups, and good opportunities to see each child and student.

We work with both modern technology and joy of movement – from 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 3–6 and tablets for younger ages, to outdoor education in nearby forests and nature.

About the position

A parental leave substitute from spring term 26 (Start as agreed) - December 26, with the possibility of extension during the current parental leave. The position primarily involves teaching in grades 4-6.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher for primary school or after-school care, and who shares our belief that all students can develop.

You are:

• flexible and solution-oriented
• skilled at building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• unpretentious and collaborative
• curious about students' learning and adapts your teaching to their needs

Meritorious: Qualification/interest in teaching music. Teaching degree for grades 4-6.
