Do you want to help develop our after-school activities? Then you are the one we are looking for! Åsaka School is a F-6 school with a very idyllic location, right next to nature.

The school is located just outside central Trollhättan. Currently, about 120 students are enrolled in seven classes and two after-school departments.

The school, preschool class, and after-school activities work integrated with each other. Our ambition is to constantly develop ourselves and our operations with the goal of increasing students' achievement, both academically and socially. All students should be able to develop as far as possible!

We are looking for a licensed teacher for after-school activities who wants to help develop our after-school program.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a leisure educator/teacher in after-school activities, you are well-versed in current governing documents and have good knowledge in planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing the educational activities both individually and together with your team. You are a confident and clear leader who, based on the curriculum, plans your teaching according to each student's knowledge, experience, and specific conditions.

Together with the staff at the school, you inspire, structure, plan, and collaborate. You also take responsibility for driving the after-school program forward and contribute to development and engagement with a solution-focused approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher for after-school activities.

You have good insight and knowledge of the governing documents for after-school activities and a strong ability to translate them into practical daily teaching. Your teaching is modern and creative, focusing on finding strategies to meet each student's needs.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as an interest in continuously developing teaching in after-school activities.
