About us

Järbo Friskola is a small school run as a non-profit association with strong local engagement. We have about 65 children and students from preschool to grade 6. Here, you will encounter a high staff-to-student ratio, small student groups, and great opportunities to see each child and student.

We work with both modern technology and joy of movement – from 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 3–6 and tablets for younger ages, to outdoor pedagogy in the nearby forest and nature.

In the after-school program, the concept of teaching has a broad interpretation where care, personal development, and a desire to learn are at the center. We aim to offer students a meaningful leisure time that strengthens their security, independence, and curiosity.

About the position

We are now looking for a substitute who wants to be part of our team. The position is a parental substitute from March to July, with the possibility of extension after the summer break.

The tasks include:

• teaching in the after-school program
• student support during the school day
• depending on education and competence, also teaching in class

About you

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher for after-school programs and who shares our belief that all students can develop.

You are:

• flexible and solution-oriented
• confident in building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• unpretentious and collaborative
• curious about students' learning and adapts teaching to their needs

Meritorious:

• knowledge and experience of NPF
• qualification or interest in teaching music
