Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned company that offers qualified treatment and change work for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Magelungen conducts treatment as well as resource schools at primary and secondary school levels. The goal is to create a context in the operations that is manageable, meaningful, and comprehensible. In all operations, research and evaluation are an integrated part.

About us

We offer school and treatment, where school is integrated with skill training and therapy. The operations are characterized by a collaborative spirit among various professions. In addition to educators, we have behavioral scientists, social workers, and family therapists who, together with school staff, support students in their development. The school caters to adolescents in grades 7-9 with extensive needs for special support. The students we encounter often have social, psychosocial, or neuropsychiatric issues and many have a long history of school absenteeism. To help these young people achieve a functioning school experience, we work with small scale, high staff density, enhanced student social support, and individually tailored programs based on each student's conditions and needs. We have a systemic and salutogenic perspective where the focus is on working with the whole and building on what works. Our goal is to provide a context where all students can have a chance to succeed based on their conditions.

About the position

As a substitute teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute when the need arises by supporting as a teacher during short interventions. This often involves assignments at short notice, making it a perfect opportunity for you who are studying or have other employment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can teach multiple subjects. Experience working in primary schools is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability – your ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive work environment is crucial. Since our students have extensive needs for special support, we prefer candidates who have experience working with this student category.

Employment form

The position is a special temporary hourly contract.

Criminal record check

A criminal record check (suspicions and offenses) will be requested - form. Apply in good time, as the processing time can be up to two weeks from when the Police Authority receives a complete application until the extract is sent. The processing time may vary depending on how many requests for extracts are made.
