Hjo Folk High School is a folk high school located in the beautiful summer town of Hjo.

We are now looking for a teacher for our courses in Free Art and Concept Art & Illustration.

Responsibilities

Depending on your skills and experience, the position may involve one or more of the following tasks:

• Teaching artistic foundational skills.
• Teaching in our courses in Concept Art & Illustration and Free Art.
• Planning and administration related to teaching as well as social pedagogical work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong artistic skills, relevant education, and good pedagogical abilities. Previous teaching experience, preferably in folk education, is an advantage.

We would like you to possess one or more of the skills or experiences described below.

• Artistic foundational skills such as perspective, drawing, values, anatomy, life drawing, color theory and painting, image composition, artistic storytelling/processes.
• Knowledge of design processes (character design, prop design, vehicle/mech design, environment design, costume design, etc.)
• Skills in digital 2D painting and 3D modeling are desirable.
• Industry experience is an advantage.
