Our newly built Lärjeskolan is centrally located in Hjällbo, easily accessible by public transport and by car.

From the central station, it takes about 10 minutes by tram. Lärjeskolan is a F-9 school that also has classes for adapted primary school 7-9 in both subjects and subject areas. The school has space for 700 students. The school has two parallel classes in F-6 and four parallel classes in 7-9. Our school management consists of a principal and three vice principals with specific areas of responsibility.

We are a multicultural school that has increased its number of students and are now looking for a teacher for physical education and health for F-6. We are looking for someone who wants to become our new colleague and drive school development forward with us.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on your subject instruction closely with your nearest physical education colleague. You will also have close collaboration with the two physical education teachers in grades 7-9. With us, you will be part of a work team and collaborate with teaching colleagues to plan and develop instruction. Your position also includes teaching in the adapted primary school for grades 7-9.

Lärjeskolan is a school that values tradition and innovation to develop students' learning. Together with your colleague, you will also be responsible for planning and implementing schedule-breaking activities such as football tournaments, ice skating, and outdoor life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is flexible, empathetic, calm, and clear, and has the ability to create good relationships with students and staff. You are a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications in physical education and health F-6. You also have experience working with low-arousal responses. If you have additional subject qualifications, it is an advantage.

You are skilled at working differentiated in your teaching. You see differences as an asset, and it is natural for you to make adjustments based on your student group. You are a good communicator in both spoken and written forms and feel comfortable taking all types of conversations and meetings.
