Chief of Staff at FMV

Responsibilities
The staff supports the head of the operational area in leading, coordinating, and developing the operational area and supports the departments in their operational activities. The department includes functions to consolidate, support, and follow up on production management, finance, administration, preparation support, security protection, and contingency planning. Currently, 13 employees work in the staff.
As Chief of Staff, you will have a wide variety of tasks and work both individually and collaboratively with others. In addition to leading the work in the staff, you will also prepare the management team's work and have close cooperation with other chiefs of staff at FMV. As Chief of Staff, you report to the head of the Logistics operational area and are part of its management team. You actively contribute to the management team's work and the joint effort to develop the entire organization. As a leader, you represent FMV's vision, goals, and values. You have operational, employer, and financial responsibility, and in this, you are your employees' most important communication channel.
Your responsibilities include developing and exercising good leadership according to FMV's leadership principles; Lead by example, Trust, Openness, and Results. You work in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines within your areas of responsibility and work towards the goals set within each area.
The position is located in Stockholm.
We are looking for you who
You have a relevant academic education or equivalent education/competence acquired in another way that FMV assesses as equivalent, along with experience in personnel management with full personnel responsibility. You have previous experience in change management and organizational development as well as leading and following up on an organization. Furthermore, you have worked to deliver results in a goal-oriented organization, you have knowledge of processes, governance, and methods within public administration, as well as experience in leading and conducting preparations. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you can work with various tools in the Office suite and that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you have experience from a similar role in an authority and knowledge of operational, process, and organizational development as well as financial follow-up. Furthermore, it is considered advantageous if you have experience in material supply to the Armed Forces, knowledge of the Armed Forces' and FMV's customer-supplier relationship and the regulations governing this, as well as knowledge of FMV's governance model, operational planning process, and financial model.

About us
The Logistics operational area is responsible for procuring materials and services for the Armed Forces' capabilities in close cooperation with the Armed Forces, including logistics support, personal equipment, field catering systems, base and maintenance systems, and medical systems. The Logistics operational area is also responsible for the development and management of the authority's methods, requirements, and follow-up in several areas such as systems safety, integrated logistics support (ILS), decommissioning, operational reliability, and life cycle costs (LCC) as well as material data (product data and technical information).
